Sian Richards is a freelance photographer based in Toronto, Canada. Sian has a degree in Art History and Studio Arts from Concordia University in Montreal. Upon moving to Toronto after graduation, Sian was able to pursue her passion for photography by working as the first assistant to George Whiteside, one of Canada’s top fashion and fine art photographers. Since going freelance, Sian has been published numerous times, sold much of her work into private collections, traveled extensively and has had several shows; including one in 2003 alongside her mentor George. Lately, she’s thrilled to have become one of a small group of preferred photographers for the National Ballet of Canada.
